Synopsis

Richard and Melody Stanley were happily married, with no children. Melody is raped and abducted by a jealous coworker of Richard's, who forces Melody to marry him to get revenge. Richard assumes that Melody has left him and is thrown into a whirlwind of crack, booze, and sluts. Unfit to run his company, Richard is taken over by Melody's abducter. Fortunately, the man dies of a heart attack 3 months later. Now, at the true beginning of the story, Melody has given birth to a baby girl, who is about six months old (she has been a "widow" for 10 months). Bella Jillian looks nothing like her "father" and a DNA test quickly proves that Melody's suspicions were right. Now Melody must face Richard. Will he accept her? Will he accept the beautiful baby who has his genes? Can his life be pieced together again by the woman that he still loves?
